Many in their 50s can relate: age discrimination at work is a major issue
Two-thirds of business graduates (ekonomit) over the age of 50 have considered changing jobs or quitting due to age discrimination, according to a study by Suomen Ekonomit (Business School Graduates in Finland). Many don’t speak up about the discrimination they face at work. And for those who have raised the issue, it seemingly made no difference in most cases. Only a small number of cases are investigated or resolved.
